Mark Palmer
as a
Vice Chairman, Investment Banking
with a focus on

A qualified geologist, Mark brings more
than 20 years of experience advising
on cross-border mining deals in the
EMEA region. Prior to joining Canaccord
Genuity, Mark spent 17 years at UBS,
where he was head of metals and mining
for EMEA, and he began his career at
Rothschild.
Guy Marks
joins our London
investment banking team as a Managing
Director with a focus on the

sector. Prior to joining Canaccord
Genuity, Guy spent 11 years at JP Morgan
Cazenove on the UK corporate finance
team with a focus on Support Services,
Construction, Transport & Logistics and
Oil Field Services, and he previously
spent two years as an analyst with
Goldman Sachs in the UK. Also joining
